KAIRO.

Rest Day – As per my itinerary I was supposed to sleep over at “ Mufwa Lakeshore Lodge ”, but on further inspection decided to move on to “Maina Beach Lodge”. What can I say, somewhat better than the first stop. Running water is a privilege and I had to make do with the two buckets which was placed in my shower, blue for the cold water and green for the hot water. For breakfast I had a wonderful choice of one cereal and some juice, the best they could offer under the circumstances. Taking a well deserved rest and feeling like a King after the long road.
This is where I met two guy's travelling from Germany to Cape Town on their 650’s. They have been travelling for a few month's and I could see they enjoy every minute of their trip. "Have a safe trip guy's, you're almost there". For them Cape Town awaits and for me .......CAIRO.
I had enough time to do some more “Africa Style Repairs” on the front light guard………..you can only guess how I managed to damage it.
